Maintenance intervals (Mercedes-Benz C-Class W201)

Contents: Every 400 km or weekly ↡ Every 10,000 km ↡ Every 20,000 km ↡ Every 50,000 km ↡ Every 120,000 km, but not later than…↡ Every 12 months regardless of mileage ↡ Every 3 years, regardless of mileage ↡
1. The types and intervals of maintenance recommended in this book are based on the assumption that the work will be carried out by the owner of the vehicle without going to a service station. These are the average intervals recommended by the manufacturer for vehicles in continuous operation under normal conditions. Obviously, some deviations in the maintenance intervals are permissible, depending on the circumstances. If you want to keep your vehicle in the best condition, you will probably want to perform some types of maintenance more often than recommended in this book. We encourage this desire, because it will allow you not only to preserve your vehicle, but also to make the most of its inherent qualities.

2. If the vehicle is operated in dusty areas, used as a towing vehicle, frequently driven at low speeds or used for short trips, it is recommended to reduce the service intervals.

3. If the vehicle is new, service should be performed at an authorized dealer service station to maintain the manufacturer's warranty.
