2. When the box has warmed up to normal operating temperature, place the car on a flat horizontal surface.
3. With the engine idling, make sure the gear selector lever is in the "P" position. Apply the parking brake.
4. Remove the locking lever and pull the automatic transmission fluid dipstick out of the dipstick tube. Wipe the dipstick with a lint-free cloth and reinstall it (see Fig. 6.4, a-c).

5. Pull the dipstick out again and check the fluid level. The level should be between the "MIN" and "MAX" marks (see fig. 6.5).

6. If it is necessary to increase the fluid level, add the fluid required by the technical specifications (see section "Operating materials") through the hole in the dipstick tube. Do not overfill the gearbox - the level should not be higher than the "MAX" mark.
7. When finished, insert the dipstick and check the fluid level. Make sure the locking lever is aligned with the fully installed dipstick.
