1. Remove the protective caps from the bottom of the torque converter housing. Turn the engine crankshaft so that the torque converter drain plug (8) is accessible through the housing hole.

2. Clean the drain plug (8) of the torque converter and the drain plug (6) of the oil pan (3) of the automatic transmission.

Attention: when working with automatic transmission, take all possible measures to maintain the cleanliness of parts and oil.

3. Unscrew the drain plugs (6) and (8).

Note: the oil should be drained immediately after the automatic transmission has fully warmed up.

Assess the condition of the oil: if the oil has a burnt smell or contains oxidation products (abrasive) particles, then the oil change should be done by removing the oil pan and cleaning it, with flushing of the oil cooler and oil lines.

4. Install the drain plugs, replacing the seals (7) and (9) with new ones.

5. Remove the automatic transmission oil pan (3) with the gasket (2).

6. Carefully clean the tray.

7. Remove the oil filter (1) by pulling it downwards,

8. Install a new filter.

9. Install the automatic transmission oil pan.

When installing the tray, tighten all the screws partially, then tighten them finally by tightening the screws sequentially, symmetrically relative to the center of the tray plane.
