Oil drain
Drain plug location
Location of oil filter mounting bolts
1. Put the car on a lift.
2. Unscrew the oil sump drain plug and drain the used oil.
3. Remove the plug on the gearbox housing in the area of the torque transformer.
4. Turn the crankshaft so that the transformer drain plug is opposite the gearbox housing hole, then unscrew the plug.
5. Remove the oil sump by unscrewing the six bolts of its fastening.
6. Remove the oil filter by removing the three Phillips screws.
7. Install a new oil filter, then replace the oil sump.
8. After the final draining of the oil, tighten the drain plugs of the oil sump and transformer.
9. Lower the car.
Oil filling
1. Insert a funnel into the dipstick tube and pour about 5 liters of ATF oil into the gearbox housing.
2. Start the engine, put the selector lever in position «R», then slowly add oil to the specified volume.
3. Place sequentially the gear selector lever in all positions at idle speed of the engine.
Checking the oil level
Note. The oil level depends on the temperature. Tags «mini» And «maxi» on the dipstick correspond to the measurement of the oil level at 80°C, i.e. on a warm engine. When checking the oil level at 20-30°C, it should be 10-12 mm above the mark «mini» on the probe.
If the oil level is above the mark «maxi», Be sure to drain off excess oil.
