Start and warm up the engine, then clamp the vacuum regulator hose and stop the engine.

1. Disconnect the control pressure rod in the engine area.

2. Move the ball end cup toward the rod, then move it forward again until you feel a slight resistance.

3. In this position, the cup should be in the area of the ball tip and fit freely onto it.

4. If necessary, change the length of the rod connecting to the accelerator pedal drive rod.
