Checking the working pressure (Mercedes-Benz E-Class W123)

1. Remove plug 7 and connect the oil pressure gauge (see illustration) Pressure check).

2. Disconnect the hose from the vacuum regulator.

3. Start the engine, bring the crankshaft speed to 1000 rpm, move the selector lever to position "D" and read the pressure gauge with the vehicle stationary.

Note: The working pressure is not adjustable. Its value only indicates the functionality of the spool and the working pressure regulator of the hydraulic unit.

4. Before checking the working pressure, the modulating pressure should be accurately adjusted.
