Note. Oil in AT does not need to be changed during the entire period of operation.
1. The most likely places for the development of ATF leaks include the following:
- The plane of the junction of the block of cylinders and AT (crankshaft rear oil seal);
- Place of connection of the drive shaft to the gearbox;
- Drain plug;
- Fill plug.
2. Clean the AT crankcase.
3. Sprinkle potential leaks with a thin layer of chalk or talc.
4. Take a test drive for about 30 kilometers.
5. Raise the car on a lift or over a viewing hole and determine the location of the oil leak by looking for oil leaks.
6. Repair the leak and fill the gearbox with oil.
