Checking the laying of pipelines and the place of their possible abrasion!
1. Check for leaks:
- engine,
- gearbox,
- power take-off mechanism
- transfer box,
- rotary gear,
- front axle,
- rear axle,
- steering gear and power steering pump.
In case of persistent oil leakage, it must be repaired immediately and the oil level corrected.
Slight wetting of compacted areas is not dangerous.
All units (engine, gearbox, rear axle, steering gear, power steering pump, brake system)
All pipes and hoses
1. All pipes, hoses and wires on the engine, clutch, fuel system, cooling system and brake system, as well as the wiring of the ABS, ESP sensors and brake pad wear indicators must be checked for leaks, damage and prescribed laying.
2.1 Leakage of compressed air in the pneumatic system must be checked.
Secure the vehicle against rolling away and release the parking brake before checking for air leaks. In the event of high compressed air leakage, locate the leak and repair the leak.
Rubber protective covers, shock absorbers, air springs
Chassis and body
1. All reservoirs for fuel, coolant, compressed air or vacuum, oil, grease and brake fluid must be checked for leaks and damage. Leaky tank (e.g. fuel tank, radiator, receiver) if necessary, seal or replace.
2. Pneumatic and hydraulic devices - check for leaks, such as air suspension and brake valves, brake master cylinder, brake calipers, brake force regulator, hydraulic pumps and hydraulic cylinders (clutch drives, tipping systems, tailgate systems, etc.), as well as shock absorbers. Leaking components, if necessary, seal or replace.
3. All covers and lining - check for damage and proper fastening.
Damaged covers and cladding must be replaced if necessary and also fixed.
4. Check cuffs and protective caps for damage and tight fit. In case of damaged or leaking cuffs and protective caps, the corresponding components (e.g. ball joints (1) axle suspensions or hinges (2) drive shafts) check and replace if necessary.
VN 1.021
5. Air cylinders (3) should be checked for damage. Damaged air springs (3) (e.g. cracks, delaminations, abrasions, etc.) - replace.

Check of a condition of mechanical knots of a steering
1. Start the engine. At the same time, set the front wheels to the straight-ahead position,
2. Check clearance (A) on the steering wheel, The steering wheel should be turned alternately to the left and right before the front wheels move. If the permissible clearance on the steering wheel is exceeded, it is necessary to check the steering mechanism and all elements of the steering force transmission from the steering mechanism for increased clearance and, if necessary, repair.
Permissible clearance on the steering wheel in the middle position: 30 mm on the rim of the steering wheel,

3. Check tie rods and tie rod ends (1). There should be no noticeable play in the tie rod ends.
VN 1.024
1. Tie rod ends
2. Corrugated covers (anthers)
