Turn away by means of the lever 1 fixing bolt in the center of a wheel.
Remove the fixing bolt and profile 2.
Remove the wheel.
Removing the spare wheel attached under the rear of the vehicle
Open the tailgate/tailgate.
Remove the red cap.

Install the adapter through hole 1 into the winch hole.
Slide the wheel wrench onto the adapter. Turn the wrench counterclockwise until it stops.

Pull the spare wheel out from under the car using one of the handles 1.
Push the bracket bracket down out of the wheel rim bracket.
- Then remove the spare wheel from the wheel rim holder.
Vehicle lifting
- Prevent the vehicle from rolling with wheel chocks or the like.
On a flat road
- Place blocks under the diagonal wheels front and rear.
On the rise
- Place blocks under both wheels of the other axle.
- Remove the vehicle tool kit and vehicle jack from the additional storage compartment in the luggage compartment.

Car jacking points are located behind the front wheel arches and in front of the rear wheel arches.

- Remove the car jack 2, adapter 3 and ratchet wrench 4 from the on-board tool kit in the left additional luggage compartment of the luggage compartment
- Place the car jack 2 on the appropriate pick-up point 1.
The vehicle jack must be positioned directly under the pick-up point when lifting the vehicle, even if the road is sloping.
Risk of injury!!!
The plate of the car jack must cover the receiving point for the car jack.
Otherwise, the vehicle may tip over from the jack. As a result, people may be injured and the vehicle may be damaged.
- Install the adapter with the ratchet wrench into the car jack.
The inscription AUF should be visible (UP).
- Turn the ratchet wrench in the direction of the inscription AUF (UP) until the wheel is off the ground. At the same time, the car jack
can move to one of the side support surfaces,
- Unscrew the wheel bolts.
- Do not place wheel bolts on sand or mud. Otherwise, the threads of the bolts or hubs may be damaged.
-Remove the wheel.
Danger of an accident!!!
Replace wheel bolts that are damaged or rusty.
Do not lubricate the wheel bolts with oil or grease.
If the threads in the wheel hub are damaged, do not continue driving under any circumstances. Contact the service station «Mercedes Benz» or 24/7 service «Service 24h».
Have maintenance work carried out by qualified personnel only.
- Clean the contact surfaces of the scaffold and the wheel hub.
- Screw in the centering pin
- Place the wheel on the centering pin and press it down.

1. Bolt for light alloy wheels and steel wheels
- Screw in the wheel bolts and tighten them slightly.
Danger of an accident!!!
Do not fully tighten the wheel bolts when the vehicle is raised, otherwise the vehicle may tip over.
- Unscrew the centering pin and screw in the last wheel bolt.
Lowering the car
- Install the adapter with the ratchet wrench into the car jack.
- The inscription AB should be visible (DOWN).
- Lower the car.
- Put the jack aside.

1-5 wheel bolts
Tighten all wheel bolts evenly in sequence 1 to 5. Tightening torque should be 130 Nm±10 Nm, all wheel bolts in sequence 1 to 5.
The tightening torque must be 130 Nm±10 Nm.
Mounting the spare wheel in the spare wheel holder at the rear of the vehicle
- Place the wheel on console 2 on wheel housing 1.
- Install the fixing bolt and tighten it firmly using the lever 3.

Mounting the spare wheel in the holder under the rear of the vehicle
- Place the spare wheel in the wheel rim holder.
- Press the wheel boot until it clicks into place on the wheel rim holder.
- Insert the cable holder through the hole in the wheel rim holder.
- Pull lightly on the cable until both lugs lock into the holder.
- Turn the key clockwise.
Thus, the spare wheel will be retracted under the car.
Tighten the spare wheel with a wrench, minimum tightening torque is 60 Nm.
