Vehicle dimensions
Vehicle weight (Manual Transmission)
The curb weight of the vehicle, including the weight of the driver (75 kg) and all liquids used (fuel tank is 90% full).
Elements of special equipment increase the curb weight of the vehicle and reduce the payload.

Operating materials and filling volumes
The consumables are fuel, lubricants such as engine oil, gear oil, greases, coolant and brake fluid.
Use only tested and approved «Mercedes Benz» operating materials, as they:
- are an integral part of the right to guarantee;
- matched to your vehicle.

Fuel grades for gasoline engines
In countries where diesel fuel with a sulfur content of more than 0.5 weight percent is used, we recommend changing the engine oil every 7500 km.
Increased wear and damage to the engine can result from the use of:
- diesel fuel that does not meet the requirements of the European standard EN 590;
- marine fuel (Marine Diesel Fuel);
- boiler fuel;
- biodiesel fuel (vegetable oil based methyl ester (RME).
Influence of low outdoor temperature
To avoid engine interruptions during the winter months, a diesel fuel with improved low temperature fluidity is offered. Winter grades of fuel can be used without interference down to a temperature of approximately -2 (U S
To improve flow, you can mix diesel fuel with kerosene and/or a flow improver. The mixture ratio depends on the type of diesel fuel and on the outside temperature.
Add as little kerosene or flow improver to diesel fuel as possible.
Caution: Do not mix diesel fuel with gasoline. Otherwise, the fuel system will be damaged.
- Mix diesel fuel with no more than 50% kerosene or a flow improver.
- Mix diesel fuel with kerosene only in a container approved for fuel, not in the vehicle's fuel tank.
- First fill the tank with kerosene and then with diesel fuel.
Modification of diesel fuel depending on the outside temperature
Fuel consumption
Under the following conditions, the vehicle consumes more fuel than usual:
- at extremely low temperatures;
- when driving around the city;
- at short distances;
- when driving with a trailer;
- in mountainous area.
The fuel consumption values have been determined in accordance with Directive 1999/100/EC (directive on carbon dioxide emissions and fuel consumption of motor vehicles) under the following test conditions:
- the intracity cycle imitates normal city traffic with frequent starting and stopping processes;
- the extra-urban cycle simulates normal driving conditions with accelerations in all gears from 0 to 120 km/h;
- - when calculating the average consumption, the intra-city cycle is taken as approximately 37%, the extra-urban cycle - approximately 63%.
Fuel consumption values
Actual fuel consumption figures for your vehicle may deviate from these figures depending on:
- driving style;
- road, conditions and traffic conditions;
- environmental impacts;
- vehicle condition.
Do not use special additives as they may cause increased wear and damage to the engine.
Engine oil
The following values indicate respectively the total filling volume for the engine.
Do not use special additives as they may cause increased wear and damage to the engine.
Engine oil viscosity
Choose SAE Prescribed Classes (viscosity) engine oil depending on the season.
The table below shows you at which average air temperature which SAE class you should apply.
