Use only tires and wheels specially designed for your vehicle and tested and approved by Mercedes-Benz. Other tires and wheels may cause negative changes:

• deterioration of dynamic properties;
• louder noise;
• increased fuel consumption.

Tires and wheels not approved by DaimlerChrysler may be too large or deform under load. As a result, they can touch the body and its elements and damage the tires or the car.

Speed index for tires

The speed index is part of the tire designation. It indicates the speed range for which the tire is approved.

R	up to 170 km/h
T	up to 190 km/h
