Front towing eye (Mercedes-Benz Vito W639)

The front towing eye receptacle is located in the direction of vehicle travel on the right side behind the bumper cover.

The towing eye is included in the on-board tool kit.

Installation of the towing eye

To access the towing eye receptacle, unscrew plug 1 and leave it hanging on the strap.

Remove the towing eye from the on-board tool kit

Screw the towing eye in until it stops. Place the wheel wrench handle into the towing eye and tighten it securely.

Attach the towing rope or bar only to the towing eye, otherwise the vehicle may be damaged.
