Removing
1. Remove the alternator drive belt.
2. Set the piston of the first cylinder to TDC. Key 7 should be facing up.
3. Block the flywheel with the blocking device 18 (see fig. 2.28).

4. Unscrew the central bolt 5 with shims 6 (see fig. 2.28, 2.29). Lubricate the shims 6 and the threads of the central bolt 5 before installation. Install the shims 6 with the convex surface towards the bolt head.

5. Remove the crankshaft grooved pulley 1. Before installation, the groove in the grooved pulley must be aligned with the keyway on the crankshaft.
Examination
6. Check up a condition of a forward epiploon of a cranked shaft and, if it is necessary, replace it. Check the radial and axial play of the grooved pulley and, if necessary, replace it.
- Radial runout: 0.6 mm.
- Axial runout: 0.5 mm.
Installation
7. Installation is made in an order, the return to removal.
