Chain drive tensioner lever (Mercedes-Benz Vito W638)

Removal

1. Remove the cylinder head 1 (see figure 2.13).

Figure 2.13. Chain drive tension lever:
1. Cylinder head,
2. Chain drive cover,
3. Tension lever,
4. Guide pin.

2. Remove the chain drive cover 2.

3. Remove tension lever 3 from guide pin 4. The plastic part of tension lever 3 is secured with clamps and can be replaced separately.

Installation

4. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
