Removal



1. Disconnect the right axle shaft 9 from the central drive shaft (see figure 7.8).

2. Remove the brake caliper. Do not disconnect the brake pipes, but secure them so that they do not interfere with the work.

3. Unscrew the anti-roll bar mounting nuts and remove it.

4. Remove the central drive shaft 1.

5. Remove spring pins 6 from central drive shaft 1.

6. Press out the rubber ring 3.

7. Remove the center drive shaft 1. Turn the steering wheel all the way to the right so that the drive shaft can be removed.

8. Remove ball bearing 2 (only if the drive shaft or bearing will be changed).

Installation



9. Install ball bearing 2 of the drive shaft.

10. Install the drive shaft 1 into the support carriage 8.

11. Install rubber ring 3.

12. Install locking ring 4 on drive shaft 1.

13. Install the drive shaft 1. The locking ring 4 must be located in the gearbox housing.

14. Tighten the anti-roll bar mounting nuts. Replace the self-locking nuts.

15. Install the brake caliper.

16. Attach the right half shaft 9 to the drive shaft 1.

17. Fill the gearbox with oil.

Removal



25. Unscrew bolts 6 securing axle shaft 2 to central drive shaft 4 (see figure 7.10).

1. Sealing ring,
2. Output shaft,
3. Right axle shaft,
4. Drive shaft,
5. Shield,
6, 7, 9, 11. Bolt,
8. Bearing,
10. Bearing bracket.


26. Disconnect the air pump shield 5 by unscrewing the three bolts 9.



27. Unscrew the bearing mounting bolts 8 of the central drive shaft.

28. Unscrew bolts 11 securing bearing bracket 10.

29. Remove the central shaft together with the bearing.

Installation



30. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal. Replace sealing ring 1.
