Removal



1. Loosen the hub mounting nut 14 (see figure 7.6).

2. Remove the wheel.

3. Unscrew the ABS sensor 17 from the steering knuckle.

4. Remove the brake disc 8.

5. Unscrew nut 15 securing the ball joint of the transverse steering rod and disconnect it from steering knuckle 2. Replace nut 15.

6. Unscrew bolt 16 securing the lower arm to steering knuckle 2.

7. Unscrew eccentric bolts 3 and 4.

8. Disconnect axle shaft 1 from steering knuckle 2.

9. Unscrew the heat shield 11.

10. Remove steering knuckle 2 from the kingpin. Wipe all components outside.

Installation



11. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal. Tighten bolts 3 and 4 and check the wheel alignment.
