Removal



Attention! When removing the steering knuckle, the shock absorber must be installed!


1. Remove the front wheel hub (9).

2. Remove the rear protective shield (35).

3. Disconnect the connecting rod (28) of the anti-roll bar from the steering knuckle (5).

4. Remove the speed sensor (L6/1) and brake lining wear indicator.

5. On models with ASD, remove the wheel acceleration sensor (B24/1).

6. Disconnect the steering rod (10) from the steering knuckle.

7. Disconnect the lower ball joint (7) from the steering knuckle (5).

8. Disconnect the steering knuckle (5) from the upper arm (6).

9. Remove the steering knuckle (5).

Installation



Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
