Front Wheel Hub Installation Details
5a - Trunnion; 9 - Hub; 9d - Nut; 9e - Hub cap; 9i - Bolt; 9m - Outer Tapered Roller Bearing; 35 - Rear protective shield; 023 - Puller


1. Remove the front wheel.

2. Remove and inspect the brake disc.

3. Remove the hub cover (9e).

4. Loosen the bolt (9i), remove the nut (9d) and remove the outer tapered roller bearing (9m).

5. Remove the front wheel hub (9).

Examination



1. Check the rear protective shield (35), replace if necessary.

2. Check the journal (5a) for wear on the bearing seats or the contact surface of the sealing rings.

3. Check the tapered roller bearing, its rings and sealing rings.

Installation



Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal. The amount of grease for the hub: in the cover - 15 g, total amount - 60 g.
