Removal
1. Disconnect the delivery pipe (P). Drain the oil into a suitable container.
2. Loosen the bolts (arrow) and remove the cover (a) on the right wheel arch.
3. Remove the bracket (arrow) on the side beam - on models with M119 and M120 engines, you must first remove the heat shield.
4. Remove the clips (A) from the front suspension ride height adjustment valve (Y37) and remove it, (except for models supplied to the USA).
5. Disconnect the discharge line (PV and TV) from the regulator and distributor (52) and remove both lines.
6. Unscrew the connecting lever (15) from the regulator.
7. Using a wrench, disconnect the delivery pipes (S1) and (S2) from the regulator.
8. Loosen the bolts (52b) securing the regulator (Y36) and remove it.
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
