Removal and installation the shock absorber (Mercedes-Benz S-Class W140)

Removal

1. Unscrew the upper shock absorber mounting nut.

2. Raise the car.

3. Disconnect the shock absorber (11) from the lower arm (31) and remove it downwards.

Installation

Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.

17 - Shock absorber; 17a, 17u - Nuts; 31 - Lower arm; Y51, Y52 - Damper valves
