2. Shine a light on the left and right axial joint dust caps (7) and check them for damage, paying attention to traces of grease on and around the seals.

3. Shine a light on the left and right guide joint dust caps and check them for damage, paying attention to any oil marks on and around the seals.

4. If the dust cap is damaged, replace the corresponding joint together with the dust cap for safety. The dirt that has penetrated will certainly destroy the joint.

5. Check the play of the upper wishbone guide joint (6). To do this, pull and press the front wheel hard and simultaneously feel the ball joint with your finger. If there is play, replace the upper wishbone.

7. To check for play, a special tool is used in the auto repair shop. If there is play, replace the simple hinge.
