- separation point between engine block and gearbox (flywheel seal/transmission shaft seal);
- cardan shaft at the checkpoint;
- oil filler screw plug;
- threaded drain plug.
When looking for a leak, proceed as follows:
1. Clean the gearbox housing with a low temperature cleaner.
2. Check the oil level. To do this, unscrew the oil filler screw (1). The oil level should reach the lower edge of the filler hole, add gear oil if necessary.
3. Tighten the oil filler screw tightly with a maximum torque of 60 Nm.
4. Spray suspected leaks with lime or talcum powder.
5. Take a test drive. To make the oil flow easily, you should drive on a freeway for a distance of about 30 km.
6. Then raise the car and inspect the transmission with a lamp to detect oil leakage.
7. Eliminate leaks promptly.
