Tightening the mounting bolts on the steering gear (Mercedes-Benz C-Class W202)

1. Raise the front of the car.

2. Remove the lower engine compartment cover.



3. Tighten the steering gear safety mounting bolts (7) to the body base to a torque of 70 Nm.

4. Install the lower engine compartment cover.

5. Lower the car.
