Removal



1. Remove the wheel.

2. Unscrew bolt 4 securing the lower arm to the engine subframe (see figure 7.3).

1. Lower suspension arm,
2, 4, 5. Bolts,
3, 6. Nuts.


3. Unscrew bolt connection 2 and 3 from the subframe.

4. Unscrew bolt 5 securing lower arm 1 to the steering knuckle and remove the lower arm.

Installation



5. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal. Check the condition of the lower arm 1 and replace it if necessary.

Removal



6. Remove the wheel.

7. Unscrew bolt 1 securing the ball joint of the lower arm 2 to the steering knuckle (see figure 7.4).

8. Unscrew bolt 3 securing lower arm 2 to engine subframe 4.

9. Unscrew bolt 5 with nut securing the lower arm to subframe 4.

10. Remove the lower arm 2.

11. Unscrew bolt 9 securing bracket 6 to lower arm 2.

Installation



12. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal. Check the condition of the ball joint. Replace the lower arm if necessary.
