The ADS system controls the stiffness of the suspension shock absorbers depending on the selected position of the corresponding console switch (see section Interior controls and equipment) the condition of the road surface, the degree of vehicle loading and the driver's driving style.
The driver is warned of ADS failures by activating the corresponding indicator lamp (see section Instrument cluster, gauges and control lamps and indicator lights).
