Disassembly



1. Disconnect the transmission housing from the torque converter housing.

2. Remove multi-plate clutches K1, K2 and K3.



3. Remove the two visible Teflon rings (42b) from the output shaft upwards.

4. Remove the retaining ring (42f), shim (42e), thrust needle bearing (42d) and thrust shim (42c) from the output shaft.

5. Remove clutch K3 (44).

6. Remove the rear hollow shaft (45) from the output shaft.

7. Remove the rear planetary gear block (43) with the integral hollow shaft, the central planetary gear block from the output shaft.

8. Remove the thrust washer (43a).

9. Remove the multi-disc brake B1 and oil pump.

Assembly



1. Install the thrust washer (43a) with the cuff facing the carrier.

2. Install the rear planetary gear block (43) with the integral hollow shaft, the central planetary gear block onto the output shaft.

3. Lubricate and install the three lower Teflon rings (42b) into the groove so that they fit together.

4. Install the rear hollow shaft (45) onto the output shaft. Check the sealing rings on the hollow shaft and replace them if necessary.

5. Install K3 clutches.

6. Install the snap ring, gasket, thrust needle bearing and thrust lining.

7. Lubricate and install the two upper Teflon rings (42b) into the groove so that they fit together.

8. Check the axial clearance between the gasket (42e) and the retaining ring (42f). It should be 0.15 - 0.6 mm. Adjust the clearance using the gasket (42e). Gasket thickness: 3.0, 3.4 and 3.7 mm.

9. Install multi-plate clutches K1, K2 and K3.
