Disassembly



1. Remove the retaining ring (90) from the outer support (refer to the accompanying illustration).



2. Remove the disc block (89) from the outer support.

3. Place the puller (072) on the spring plate (87) and compress it until the retaining ring (88) is released.

4. Remove the disc spring (86b) and piston (86) by applying compressed air to hole A.

Assembly



Assembly is carried out in the reverse order of disassembly. Check the gap between the retaining ring (90) and the outer disc (89c). Adjust the gap using the retaining ring (90). The thickness of the retaining ring: 2.6, 2.9, 3.2, 3.5, 3.8 and 4.1 mm.
