Removal
1. Place the vehicle in the "Service Position".
2. Remove the wheel.
3. Remove cotter pins 5 securing pins 4 (see figure 9.9).

4. Push pins 4 inward until they come out of the holes in brake pads 2.
5. Remove the retainer 3.
6. Disconnect the wear indicator 9.
7. Remove the brake pads 2.
Installation
8. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal. The brake pad with wear indicator is installed inside. Check for brake fluid leaks. Before starting to move, press the brake pedal several times to build up pressure in the system.
