Removal
1. Place the vehicle in the "Service Position".
2. Remove the rear wheel brake pads.
3. Disconnect the brake pipe from the brake caliper 1 (see figure 9.7).

4. Remove cover 4.
5. Unscrew bolts 2 and 3 securing caliper 1.
6. Remove the brake caliper 1.
7. Wipe the outer surface of the brake caliper 1.
8. Check the pistons, dust covers, brake pipes and brake caliper seals for damage and wear. Damaged elements must be replaced.
9. Check the thickness of the brake linings. If wear exceeds the permissible limit, replace the pads. The pads are changed on both brake mechanisms of one axle at the same time.
10. Check the brake disc.
Installation
11. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal. Bleed the brake system. Check the brake fluid level and correct it.
