Attention! When any of the differentials are locked, the BAS is automatically disabled!
Attention! The emergency brake booster is not able to prevent the risk of losing traction with the road surface during cornering and hydroplaning!
BAS contributes to the reduction of the braking distance during emergency braking of the car, and also ensures the completeness of the impact of the ABS, ETS and ESP systems (see below).
When the foot brake pedal is depressed sharply, BAS provides maximum braking force - if there is a need for further braking of the car, do not weaken the pressure on the pedal. When the foot brake pedal is released, BAS is automatically disengaged.
When the on-board power supply voltage drops below 10 V, the BAS amplifier is switched off, - the corresponding control lamp lights up on the instrument cluster (BAS and ESP systems use a common warning lamp - see Section Instrument cluster, meters, control lamps and indicator lights). Increasing the voltage level automatically normalizes the situation.
