Attention! When the lock of any of the differentials is enabled, the ESP is automatically disabled!
Attention! The greatest efficiency of the functioning of the anti-skid system is achieved only if the wheels specified in the Specifications sizes!
The ESP system improves the stability of the car while driving and at the same time provides automatic control of the traction force of the power unit in all operating modes.
Due to the controlled braking of the wheels, skid resistance is created and the controllability of the car is increased.
If necessary, the anti-skid system can be forcibly turned off using the corresponding console switch on the instrument panel (see Section Controls and interior equipment). When the ESP system is disabled, the ETS / ESP warning lamp built into the speedometer assembly is activated (see Section Instrument cluster, meters, control lamps and indicator lights). Reactivation of the system is carried out using the same switch.
Note. In the event of a failure of the anti-lock brake system (ABS) the traction control system is also disabled.
