The car uses two types of parking brake system drives: lever and pedal.

Parking brake system actuator lever



Removal



1. Raise the vehicle.

2. Release the parking brake.

3. Loosen the parking brake cable with adjusting bolt 11 (see figure 9.10).

4. Remove the decorative trims.

5. Disconnect the retainer with the pin and remove the front cable from the drive lever.

6. Unscrew bolts 9 securing bracket 8 and disconnect lever 5 of the parking brake system drive.

7. Disconnect the electrical wire 10 of the parking brake system switch 6.

8. Remove sensor 6.

9. Unscrew bolts 4 and disconnect bracket 8.

Installation



10. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal. Adjust the parking brake system.

Pedal mechanism of the parking brake system drive



Removal



1. Raise the vehicle.

2. Release the parking brake.

3. Disconnect cable 4 from lever 1 (see figure 9.11).

17. Locking nut,
18. Operating lever mounting bolts,
19. Side bolt for fastening the operating lever,
20. Bolts for fastening the operating lever bracket to the body.


4. Remove bracket 2.

5. Disconnect cable 12 from clamp 6.

6. Disconnect plastic ring 7 from cable 12.

7. Disconnect the retainer 5 and remove the pedal 13.

8. Disconnect the wiring connector from the contact switch 3.

9. Unscrew the locking nut 17 and remove the contact switch 3.

10. Unscrew bolt 15.

11. Disconnect Bowden cable 4 from plate 23.

12. Remove cam 10 and operating lever 9.

13. Remove plate 23 and pedal.

Installation



14. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal. Adjust the parking brake system.
