Removal
1. Place the vehicle in the "Service Position".
2. Unscrew the cap on the brake fluid reservoir.
3. Remove the wheel.
4. Disconnect the wear indicator wiring connector 10 (see figure 9.6).

5. Remove spring retainer 3 from the brake caliper.
6. Remove cover 6 and unscrew bolts 5 securing the brake caliper.
7. Remove the brake caliper 1.
8. Remove the brake pads 4.
9. Check brake pads 4 for wear.
Installation
10. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal. Check for brake fluid leaks. Before starting to move, press the brake pedal several times to build up pressure in the system.
