Removal
1. Remove the rear brake disc.
2. Loosen the parking brake cables.
3. Disconnect the return spring 5 (see figure 9.12).

4. Disconnect the compression springs 8.
5. Disconnect the brake shoes 3 with the knurled bolt 1 and return spring 4.
6. Disconnect lock 6 from the drive cable.

7. Check the condition of the brake linings.
- Permissible wear of the brake linings of the parking brake system: 3 mm.
Installation
8. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal. Adjust the parking brake system.
