Removal

1. Remove the automatic transmission and torque converter.

2. Wipe the surfaces around the seal 1 (see figure 6.67).

3. Remove the radial oil seal 1. Do not damage the drive shaft.

Installation

4. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal. Make sure that oil seal 1 is installed correctly. When installing it, use punch 2.
