Gear selector lever position sensor (vehicles with engines 111, 601.970 and 611.980) (Mercedes-Benz Vito W638)

Removal

1. Remove the automatic transmission.

2. Remove selector lever 1 (see figure 6.70).

3. Remove the B73 sensor from the automatic transmission. Do not loosen the adjusting plate 5.

Installation

4. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal. The B73 sensor can only be installed in one position. The sensor mounting pin must engage in the hole (arrow) of the adjustment plate 5. Adjust its position.
