Gear Selector Lever Installation Details
1 - Body; 2 - Gear selector lever; 6, 42 - Bolts; 10 - Gear shift rod; 40B, 40L - Cables; 41 - Clamp; 49 - Retainer; S16/9 - D-contact switch


1. Disconnect the shift rod (10) by removing the retainer (49).

2. Disconnect the connector from the D-contact switch (S16/9).

3. Remove the plug (arrow) downwards and remove the cover.

4. Loosen the clamps (41) with bolts (42).

5. Disconnect cables (40L) and (40B) from the gear selector lever.

6. Unscrew the bolts (6).

7. Remove the gear selector lever upward.

1. Remove the cover (3).

2. Loosen the nut (12) and unscrew the gear selector lever (2).

3. Remove the slider (27), cover (9), insert (7a), tape (8), D-contact switch (S16/9), bracket (26), slider (23), gasket (25) and switch (28).

4. Press out the locking device (16) and remove the plastic sleeve (15).

5. Remove the fork (13) and the double spring (14).

6. Disconnect the sealing gasket (22).

7. Press out the locking device (53).

8. Loosen the support plate (51), remove the locking lever (44B), (44L) and cam (48) from the housing (1).

9. Disconnect the locking lever (44B), (44L) from the support plate (51).

10. Remove the pins (4) and take the gearshift shaft (18) out of the bracket (55). Check the rod (18) for signs of wear and lubricate it before installation.

Assembly and installation



Assembly and installation are carried out in the reverse order of removal.
