1. Apply the parking brake, jack up the front of the vehicle and place it on supports placed under the front axle.

2. Remove the clamps and disconnect the rods from the lower end of the gear shift lever.



3. Lock the gear shift lever in neutral by inserting a 6 mm diameter pin into the hole provided for this purpose.

4. With the gear shift lever in neutral position, check the adjustment dimensions.

5. After this, you can return the lever to its original position.

Five-speed gearboxes



1. From inside the vehicle, remove the center console cover from the gearshift lever and move the lever all the way to the right and forward. Make sure that the limiter plate and pin have a gap of 1.5 mm. If not, reposition the limiter plate.

2. Replace the center console cover.

Four-speed and five-speed gearboxes



1. Adjust the length of the shift rods so that they fit freely into the levers, then install the clamps.

2. Remove the locking pin and lower the vehicle.
