Power Steering Pump Mounting Bracket (on cars with engine 111 without air conditioning)
Removal
1. Remove the air filter housing.
2. Remove the radiator grille.
3. Remove the support post 7 (see figure 8.8a).

4. Remove bracket 3.
5. Disconnect the crankcase ventilation tube 6 from the caliper 5.
6. Remove pump 1 and secure it to the side with the tubes attached.
7. Remove the pump bracket 5 upwards.
Installation
8. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal. Wipe the sealing surfaces, replace gasket 4. Set the gap between pump support 5 and timing chain cover 10 to A=5 mm.
Power Steering Pump Mounting Bracket (on cars with engine 111c air conditioning)
Removal
1. Remove the air filter housing.
2. Remove the radiator grille.
3. Remove the support post 7 (see figure 8.8b).

4. Remove bracket 3.
5. Disconnect the crankcase ventilation tube 6 from the caliper 5.
6. Remove pump 1 and secure it to the side with the tubes attached.
7. Remove the clamp (arrow) of the air conditioning system pipe.
8. Remove compressor 11 and secure it to the side with the pipes attached.
9. Remove the power steering pump and air conditioning compressor from the caliper 5.
Installation
10. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal. Wipe the sealing surfaces, replace gasket 4. Set the gap between pump support 5 and timing chain cover 12 to A=5 mm.
