Removal
1. Disconnect the negative cable from the battery.
2. Remove the right deflector.
3. Unhook cover 2 from passenger airbag 3 (see figure 8.11).

4. Remove the cover under the instrument panel on the passenger side.

5. Disconnect the R 2.1 wiring connector from the R2 airbag module.
6. Unscrew the bolts 4 securing the passenger airbag 3 on both sides.
Installation
7. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
