2. Remove the radiator grille.
3. Unscrew the pressure hose from the power steering pump.
4. Connect the pressure gauge 2 (see figure 8.7).

5. Check and adjust the fluid level.
6. Start the engine and let it idle.
7. Check the circulation pressure with the tap closed. It should be a maximum of 5 bar.
8. Set the engine speed to 1000 rpm.
9. Check the pressure with the tap open. It should be 120+8 bar.
10. If the value is different from the specified value, replace the power steering pump.
11. Drain the fluid from the power steering pump, connect the pressure hose to the power steering pump and refill the fluid.
