Removing
1. Place the steering wheel in the center position and lock the steering shaft in this position.
2. Disconnect the tube from the power steering reservoir.
3. Remove the bottom motor guard.
4. Unscrew the bolt 1 fastening the hinge of the steering shaft 2 to the shaft of the steering mechanism 3 and disconnect it (see fig.8.2). Mark their relative positions.

5. Disconnect ball bearings 4 from steering knuckles 5. Replace self-locking nuts 6.
6. Unscrew the nut 8 securing the strut 9 to the stabilizer 10. Lift the stabilizer 10 up and attach it to the shock absorber strut with wire.
7. Unscrew the inlet 12 and drain 11 tubes from the steering mechanism.
8. Remove the lower air supply tube 13 (on vehicles with engine 601.970).
9. Unscrew the bolt connection 14 fastening the steering mechanism to the subframe 15 and remove it.
Installation
10. Installation is made in an order, the return to removal. The volume of the steering mechanism is 1.35 liters.
