Power steering pump (on vehicles with engines 111.948 and 601.970)
Removing
1. Drain the fluid from the power steering pump reservoir 4 (see fig. 8.6a, b).

2. Remove the grille and high pressure pipe 1. On vehicles with engine 601.970, remove the pipe between the intercooler and the intake duct.
3. Remove drain tube 2.
4. Loosen the bolts of the pulley 3. On vehicles with engines 111.948, remove the intake duct.
5. Remove the alternator drive belt.
6. Remove the power steering pump pulley 3.
7. Remove the pump of the amplifier of a steering 4 and merge from it a liquid.
Installation
8. Installation is made in an order, the return to removal.
Power steering pump (on vehicles with engine 104.900)
Removing
1. Remove bumper 1 (see fig. 8.6v).

2. Remove the alternator drive belt 2.
3. Drain the fluid from the system.
4. Turn off a bolt 3 fastenings of an injecting tube to an arm.
5. Unscrew the bolts 3 fastening the injection tube to the power steering pump 4.
6. Turn off bolts 6 fastenings of the pump of the amplifier of a steering 4 to an arm.
7. Unscrew the drain pipe 5 from the power steering pump 4.
8. Remove the power steering pump 4.
Installation
9. Installation is made in an order, the return to removal.
