1. Pump out the liquid from the pump reservoir (syringe).
2. Loosen the top pivot bolt and the nut on the front end of the adjusting bolt.
3. Turn the adjusting bolt to loosen the belt tension and remove the drive belt from the pulley.
4. Remove the hinge and adjusting bolts, remove the power steering pump from the engine.
5. If necessary, unscrew the nut and remove the pulley using a puller.
6. Install in the reverse order of removal, after inspecting the plastic bushings of the mounting bracket and replacing them if necessary.
7. Tension the drive belt to the extent required by the operation (deflection 10 mm).
