1. Apply the parking brake and support the front of the vehicle on jack stands (stands). Remove the wheels.
2. Remove the cotter pins and unscrew the nuts.
3. Use a puller to press the ball joints out of the levers. If the longitudinal tie rod is removed, disconnect the shock absorber. Mark the position of the washers and covers.
4. Install in the reverse order of removal. Check the front wheel alignment angles.
