Removing
1. If equipped, remove the air intake hose at the air filter above the power steering pump.
2. Open the power steering reservoir cap. Withdraw the hydraulic oil from the reservoir with a suitable syringe.
3. Unscrew high pressure flexible hose (29), as well as the reverse (28) and plug the connection points with clean plugs. Plug the high pressure hose into the pump as well (27).
4. return hose (26) clamp with a suitable clamp, for example, a clamp, and unscrew it. Close the connection with a plug.
5. Loosen the bolts (48) on the belt pulley, but do not unscrew them.
6. Remove the V-ribbed belt.
7. Unscrew the bolts and remove the pulley.
8. unscrew the bolts (46), while holding the lower bolt from below.
9. unscrew the bolts (46) and remove the pump.
Installation
1. Screw the pump to the brackets.
2. Tighten the belt pulley by hand.
3. Install the ribbed V-belt.
4. Tighten the 3 V-belt pulley bolts to 30 Nm.
5. Remove the plugs and screw on the hydraulic lines with a torque of approx. 30 Nm.
6. Fill the reservoir with hydraulic oil to a level of about 10 mm from the top edge. Start the engine for 1 second, then stop it. Add oil to the tank, the pump should not suck in air. Set the oil level correctly.
7. Ride Height Adjustment: Raise the vehicle at the rear so that the wheels are not loaded. Start the engine, let it run for a while, then stop. With the engine off, set the oil level correctly. Then lower the car and load the trunk with a load of about 120 kg. Start the engine, set the average speed, leave the engine running for 20 seconds. Set the oil level.
8. Install the air filter suction hose. After a test drive, inspect the tightness of the connection on the pump, if necessary, slightly tighten the connectors.
