Removal
1. Disconnect the negative cable from the battery.
2. Unscrew bolts 1 and remove cover 2 (see figure 8.12).

3. Lift the mat.
4. Open the lid 5.
5. Disconnect the A10.1 wiring connector from the airbag control unit.
6. Remove the airbag control unit.
Installation
7. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
