Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor Failure

In this case, the control unit switches to receive a signal from the spare (duplicating) sensor.

The maximum throttle opening angle is limited to 60°, and its opening speed is slowed down.

If both sensors fail, only the idle speed is regulated and the throttle actuator motor is switched off.

Throttle Position Potentiometer Failure

In this case, the control unit switches to receive a signal from the spare (duplicating) sensor.

If both sensors fail, the throttle valve is mechanically moved to the emergency position by means of a return spring, and the throttle actuator motor is switched off.

Failure of the actuator motor of the damper drive

The throttle valve is held by a return spring in a constant position with an opening angle of 8-10°.

The idle speed is about 900 rpm, and the crankshaft speed is about 1800 rpm.
