Removal and installation the rear suspension clearance control unit (Mercedes-Benz S-Class W140)

Removal

1. Drain the fluid from the system.

2. Disconnect the pressure pipes (S1), (P4) from the control unit (3).

3. Disconnect the return line (T) from the control unit (3).

4. Disconnect the connecting rod between the control unit (7) and the anti-roll bar.

5. Remove the control unit (3).

6. Disconnect the connecting rod from the control unit (3).

Installation

Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
