Grind the discs evenly, keeping the surfaces parallel. If disc damage is found in the installed state, its outer edge should be checked for runout with an indicator.

After installation, the disk in any case must be checked for a beating. To do this, install the indicator with a suitable holder so that the pin of the device rests against the outer edge of the disk (pic. 289), then turn the dial slowly. If the runout value is greater than 0.2 mm, remove the disc from the hub again and install. Also make sure the seat is clean. If the runout limit value reappears, the disk must be replaced.
Press the brake pedal several times to bring the pads to the discs. Further, it is necessary to follow the recommendations described in subsection. «Recommendations for the use of brake pads».
